during the first group of on-air phone calls on this morning's washington journal, i heard no less than two who claimed they'll vote gop because of john kerry's supposed put down of our troops.

i suspect they would've anyway and just want to amplify the bush spin, but who knows? what if the tightened up polls of the last couple days are because of kerry?
