fukushima not natural disaster?
this is fascinating. a nuclear engineer has completed an analysis and concluded that the fukushima meltdown and explosion could have been avoided if sufficient emergency backup electric power had been available for the cooling systems of all six reactors. the strength of the quake and the height of the tsunami would not have mattered if all possible precautions had been taken, as shown by the fact that a diesel engine on a nearby hilltop was used to generate enough electricity to save two reactors.


A year has now passed since the complete core meltdowns of three boiling water reactors at Tokyo Electric Power Co.'s Fukushima No. 1 plant. Because of the limited and biased information issued by the Japanese government, the world does not know what really happened when the earthquake and the tsuna...
