••can ye pass the acid test?••

ye who enter here be afraid, but do what ye must -- to defeat your fear ye must defy it.

& defeat it ye must, for only then can we begin to realize liberty & justice for all.

time bomb tick tock? nervous tic talk? war on war?

or just a blog crying in the wilderness, trying to make sense of it all, terror-fried by hate radio and FOX, the number of whose name is 666??? (coincidence?)

what's so difficult?
want to save social security and medicare?

what if you could eliminate the regressive payroll taxes at the same time?

try this: just pay for it out of general revenue!

all congress has to do is enact a law requiring itself to keep the trust funds solvent.

the benefits would be based on cost of living instead of income, and there'd have to be a formula limiting congress's power to raise the retirement age too quickly.

and all that will motivate them to find ways to lower costs.

yes, it's so simple that it sounds too good to be true, but if it's not true, or it won't work, or there's something wrong with it, show me!
