does anybody know anything of a rumor that the pentagon is covering up news of an attack on a US base in iraq that resulted in hundreds of american casualties?

i was so taken aback when i heard it i forgot to note who said it and where. i think it might've been on book tv this past weekend, possibly in the replay of the LA times festival of books panel on iraq, or maybe the one on spin....
