& defeat it ye must, for only then can we begin to realize liberty & justice for all.

time bomb tick tock? nervous tic talk? war on war?

or just a blog crying in the wilderness, trying to make sense of it all, terror-fried by hate radio and FOX, the number of whose name is 666??? (coincidence?)

how do we guarantee the new iraq won't start any wars?

when will their army be well-trained enough to fight israel?

do we plan to stop short of that?

do we need any more unintended consequences?

  1. We can only control our own actions. We have no control over the person standing next to us....much less other countries.

    Iraq has always started wars.

We just finally decided to do something about it. That's all.

  2. interesting reading of history, chuckie.

    iraq started maybe 3 wars: w/ iran, kuwait, and--along w/ 4 other countries--israel in 1948.

we've started at least 6: mexico, spain, vietnam, panama, and the 2 we're in now, plus others i'm not sure if i should count, like grenada.

we did something about it all right: we made it worse!

and, yes, we do control our own actions, so why are we training an army that in the foreseeable future might use our training to commit aggression?
