power corrupts.
therefore, knowledge corrupts.

    There are only two flaws.

    Knowledge is not Power.
    Power does not corrupt.

    Librarians are not rich nor powerful.
    Corruption (Crime, rust, filth, waste, contamination)
    does not stem from people with power.
    Its really more universal.
